Working with parts of self

It’s normal to have different parts to our personalities. However, when faced with extreme stress or trauma, parts can become trapped in painful roles or hold distressing emotions or memories. Although that helps us at the time to survive intolerable situations, the legacy may be feeling fragmented, torn by inner conflicts, dissociation, or missing memories of important times in your life.

For example, perhaps you recognise having a wounded inner child, self-critical, numbing, controlling, addictive or intellectualising parts - or not feeling fully present. The good news is that there are “no bad parts”, and working directly with them is a particularly effective way of bringing healing to where it’s most needed and helping your authentic self regain control of your life.

I have particular expertise in using evidence based approaches from IFS (Internal Family Systems) and parts work. My aim is to help you connect with your authentic 'Self'; free parts stuck in trauma time; overcome limiting patterns of behaviour and experience greater harmony within.
